With new direct flights to Nassau being launched over the next few months, there are more quick and convenient travel options for Bahamas vacations – including dream Cable Beach rental properties.
The new United Airlines Saturdays flight from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport to Nassau's Lynden Pindling International Airport starts on December 18 – just in time for Christmas in your luxury Bahamas vacation rental property.
The new flight is scheduled to depart from Cleveland at 9:05 am and arrive in the Bahamas at 12:10 pm. The return flight leaves Nassau at 1:05 pm and lands at 4:15 pm. It features a 76-seat Embraer 175 plane. Tickets are on sale now.
In November, budget carrier Frontier Airlines will add three new routes from the United States to the Bahamas capital. Alfredo Gonzalez, International Sales Manager for Denver-based Frontier Airlines, said that after its service between Miami and Nassau that started in June, it is adding more Bahamas routes.
"On November 2, we will start service from Orlando to Nassau, Philadelphia to Nassau, and, a few weeks later, we will start Newark to Nassau. We are super excited to connect the northeast United States to Nassau and, of course, continue our growth from Florida to Nassau."
British vacationers can take advantage of a new service from Virgin Atlantic, due to begin on Saturday, November 20. The twice-a-week flights are between London Heathrow and Nassau's Lynden Pindling International Airport.
The new Nassau flights have been taking off as carriers look to meet the rising demand for Bahamas vacations, with almost half a million visitors in the first half of the year, reports new Bahamas Tourism Minister Chester Cooper. "Our beautiful country, and our beloved Caribbean region, will prosper again and continue to progress, as in the words of the motto of The Bahamas: Forward, Upward, Onward, Together."
